Jeannette Bruce has been teaching in the Diocese of St. Augustine for the past 35 years. She has taught at Resurrection, St. Matthews and for the last 28 years here at St. Paul’s. She has experience teaching grades 1-8, and has been the Assistant Principal at St. Paul’s for the past 11 years. Jeannette is a product of Catholic Education where she went from Elementary school through college. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Chestnut Hill College and is certified in Elementary Ed grades 1-6 and Middle School Social Studies.
Mr. Conley was educated in Colorado receiving a B.A. in English/Education from Western State College of Colorado in 1987. He relocated to Jacksonville in 1988 and has made his home in the Riverside area since 1991. Mr. Conley has coached the soccer team for 13 years and is excited to bring that same enthusiasm and energy to the Language Arts classes this year. "Coach" Conley will bring his love of words to 7th and 8th grade English and Literature. He is thrilled to carry on the tradition of "A Christmas Carol" and Shakespeare with the 7th and 8th grades. Mr. Conley enjoys an open classroom with plenty of leeway for discussion and banter with his students. His wife Robin, and sons, John('08) and Chris('15) are active in St. Paul's Catholic Church and enjoy the fellowship of the neighborhood.
Michael Masi is excited to be spending his third year with the St. Paul’s Riverside family. He earned his bachelors degree and Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame. Michael is currently working towards his Master of Arts in Educational Leadership through the Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame. This year, Michael will be teaching all sections of middle school math and is excited to continue using Interactive Math Notebooks to helps student learning.
Pete O'Connell is excited to be teaching his first year as a part of the Saint Paul Riverside family. He earned a Bachelors degree from Saint Anselm College in Natural Science. He is working towards earning a Masters of Education from Notre Dame as a part of the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Program. In the classroom, Mr. O'Connell encourages deep, scientific thinking and welcomes answering and posing questions to challenge students. He will be teaching Middle school science and 6th grade religion. He is excited to bring new energy to the already amazing Middle school team.
