Mrs. Susan Salem was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended San Jose Catholic Elementary and Bishop Kenny High School. She went on to earn her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and her Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida. She previously worked 14 years in the Duval county school system,6 as a first grade teacher and 8 as a reading coach. She left teaching to raise her twins, Christian and Kylie, both of whom attend St. Paul’s.
Mrs. Quana Register is a credentialed Child Development Associate, (National CDA recipient), with an emphasis in the development of children from ages Birth-5. She has worked in the Pre- K programs at St. Paul’s for the past 6 years, and has previously taught in and managed infant, toddler, VPK, drop-in, private home, and after school environments. She has been married for the past 12 years and has 3 children, ages 11, 11and 12. All attend Catholic school, with two of them attending St. Paul’s currently.
Mrs. Desiree Green is a Jacksonville native who attended Christ the King Elementary schools and Bishop Kenny High School. She then proceeded on to the University of North Florida where she received a bachelors degree in Pre K Primary Education and ESOL. Mrs. Green has spent the last eleven years living and teaching in Washington D.C. This is her second year at St. Paul’s and she is so excited to put her mind and heart into the first grade.
Mrs. Nancy Parliment is excited to be returning to St. Paul’s to teach 3rd grade. Nancy previously taught Kindergarten at St.Paul’s for 8 years and also served as a teacher assistant in PreK. Nancy graduated from Clemson University and holds a degree in Psychology. She has five children who all attend St.Paul’s. She brings the passion of teaching and the experience of having school aged children to her classroom and creates a Christ centered environment where partnerships and friendships are nourished.
Mrs. Maynard is a Jacksonville native, where she attended St. Matthew’s from K-8th grade then graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. She then attended UNF and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology. She has always had a passion for working with children and teaching. She went back to UNF and attended the Educators Preparation Institute and received her teaching certificate in 2011. She has worked in Duval County as a 1st and 3rd grade teacher and K-5th Reading Interventionist.
She has two children that also attend St. Paul's. She is excited to take on a new adventure in 4th grade!
