The goal of St. Paul's PK4 program is to prepare students for kindergarten socially, emotionally and academically. Each day begins with morning circle time where the weekly concept and alphabet letter is introduced/reinforced. The children engageĀ with songs, word plays, puppets and a variety of activities. We use Links to Literacy which incorporates different methods of teaching. Students also use Handwriting Without Tears which is a great program to teach beginning fine motor skills. Students also attend weekly resource classes including Art, Music, Library, Computer, and PE. Students attend the school Mass each Friday. Parents are welcome to attend with their child. The students will also go on several field trips trough out the year.
St. Paul's Free Voluntary Pre-K program is from 7:45 until 11:00. We also offer a full day until 2:30 for an additional fee. If you need additional care St. Paul's as a after school program, "Short Stop". Short stop is available from 2:30 until 6:00 p.m.
